Yakdessagala Sri Lanka

Yakdessagala Sri Lanka is a mountain 440m height.It is the second highest mountain in Kurunegala distric.(Yak means devl's,dessa means performer of devil,gala means stone) It is situated near Sanweli raja maha temple 7km away from Gonagama in Kurunegala district of north-west province.There is no clear root to climb to the mountain.There are man maid sings help to climb up to top of the mountain.There are no water or foods on the way because need to walk through big forest.Need definitely carry water.No need help of a guide.There is a folklore that Kuwanee(first woman of aborigines abandoned by king Vijaya (first king of Sri Lanka) came to this top of mountain and cried till died.If you reach the top of the mountain you will see a beautiful view.
