Naval Museum Trincomalee Sri Lanka. This museum situvatsd in  2 km away from trincomalee town . The museum is located on the place where the Dutch first landed.The museum is housed in a very old building.From 1602 to 1795 this building was used by the Dutch as the official residence of the naval commissioner.From 1795 to 1948 it was used as the official residence of the municipal commissioner.This museum opened by the then Sri Lanka president Mahinda Rajapaksa in 2013.The Netherlands has assisted in the restoration of the building where the museum is located.The museum was opened to mark 65th independence day of Sri Lanka.    \

Devinuwara light house. (Dondra light house) Sri Lanka Devinuwara (Devinuwara means city of gods) Light house situated in 6km away from Matara of southern province Sri Lanka.It is the tallest light house in South  East Asia.It is maintained by the Sri Lanka port authority.It was built by the British 1887-1890.Iron and bricks required for this purpose were imported from England.It is 49m high and has seven floors.You have to climb 196 steps to get to the top of it. Dambulla cave temple complex Dambulla cave temple was declared as a world heritage site in 1991.it is also known as the Rangiri viyaraya.(Ran means gold,giri means mountain, viharaya means temple) It is situated in Matale district 16km away from Glewela town and  148km away from colombo. Dambulla is the largest cave temple complex in Sri Lanka.It is about 160 m from the ground level.There are paintings and statues depicting the life of Buddha.There are also statues of god and kings.

       Richman castle was built by planter P.M.R.A.D. Arthur de Silwa Wijesinha Siriwardana mudaliyar from 1890 to 1900. It is situated in 2 km away from kalutara western province Sri Lanka.This is a two storeyed building with 16 rooms 99 doors 34 windows.This mansion, the design of a mansion of India, was secretly obtained and built accordingly. All the materials needed to built this mansion have been imported from other countries.Since the owner did not have children, the mansion was assigned public trustee department Sri Lanka. Galle Fort Sri Lanka. Galle Fort Sri Lanka situated in Galle district southwest of Sri Lannka. It is face to sea. Portuguese started build this fort in 1588. The fort was fortified by the Dutch from 1649. UNESCO recognized the fort as a world heritage.The fort has 432 years colorful history. The fort is now maintain by the archeological department of Sri Lanka.

Kalpitiya Fort Sri Lanka. Kalpitiya Fort was built by the Dutch in 1667-1676.Built by the Dutch under the patronage of king of Kandy, Ragasinha II , the fort was aimed at protecting the Kalpitiya port.The fort is square in shape.It's walls 4m high.It's entrance is looks like a church.The fort was constructed by coral and limestone.The entrance arch was made by using yellow bricks imported from Holland.In 1795 the fort was surrendered to the British. The fort was now under the Sri Lankan navy.The fort is now free for public.
