Wind farm Puttalam, Sri Lanka Puttalam power plant is the largest power plant in Sri Lanka.There are 25 wind turbines generate 20 MW to the national electricity grid.It is located on the south - east shore of the Puttalam lagoon in puttalam Sri Lanka.Construction of this power plants was began in 2009.Construction cost was USD 40 million.Owner of this power plant is Wind force (pvt) Ltd.This power plants is maintained by Seguwantivu and Vidatamunai(pvt) Ltd.Wind power Electricity cheaper than other energy sources.The way to go there from colombo,wattala,seeduwa,Negombo,Kattuwa,Waikkal,Bolawatta,Nainamadama,Wennappuwa,Marawila,Mhawewa,Bangadenya,Arachchikattuwa,Anawilundawa,Baththuluoya,Akkaraweli,Mundel,Mangala eliya,Madurankuli,Karikattiya,Thilladi,Puttalam.

Anuradhapura Kingdom The Anuradhapura kindom was the first kingdom  of Sri Lanka.this kingdom was founded by king Pandukabhaya.King Devanampiyathissa was an outstanding king during the Anuradhapura period.The ruins of temples built by him can still be seen today.The sacred Atamasthan (eight sacred places that,Lankaramaya,The Jaya sri maha bodhi(tree planted by king Devanampiyathissa 307-267 BC),The Lovamahapaya,The Mirisavati stupa,The Jethavanarama stupa,The Abhayagiri stupa,The Thuparama stupa,The ruwanwali maha stupa) built by different king sat different times is located in Anuradhapura.Anuradhapura is 203km away from Colombo.

Lakvijaya Power station, Norochcholai Sri Lanka Lakvijaya Power station is located in Norochcholai,Puttalam district in the Kalpitiya peninsula in Sri Lanka.It is a coal-fired power station.The construction work commenced in 2006.In 2011 300MW was added to the national electric power system. People can view this power station in advance.

Yapahuwa Fortress Sri Lanka Yapahuwa (also known as Yapawwa, pawwa means mountain)  Fortress is located in the Mahawa divisional secretariat in the Kurunegala district of the North western province of Sri Lanka. It is said that in the early 13th century, a fortress is built by the commander Subha.After that king Vijayabahu iv had done some development work Yapahuwa.Yapahuwa was an important security point at that time.Buwnekabahu. Port city colombo (Colombo international financial city) The city is planing to reclaim the sea near Colombo's Galle Face Green.The area of this city is square kilometres 2.69. The work commence in 2014.The reclamation project was completed by 2018.Political issues at times interrupted this activity.But with the new agreement, the Chinese government is continuing its construction.The construction work is being done by China Harbour engineering company.
