  Prana Jeewa plant (Dancing Plant or telegraph plant)ප්‍රාණ ජීව පැළෑටිය prana means life jeewa means living. This is considered as a very valuable medicine in Sri Lanka. It is said that when a very ill patient is given a little juice from the leaves of this plant, the disease disappears. The leaves are also used to make valuable medicinal oils in Sri Lanka. The other specialty of this plant is that the small leaves under the big leaves rotate throughout the day. When any sound is heard, it can be observed that the leaves rotates rapidly. It is said that this plant has a special liking for music. When one walks near this plant, one can see the plant swinging. This may be why this plant is named as the dancing plant. Wind farm Puttalam, Sri Lanka Puttalam power plant is the largest power plant in Sri Lanka.There are 25 wind turbines generate 20 MW to the national electricity grid.It is located on the south - east shore of the Puttalam lagoon in puttalam Sri Lanka.Construction of this power plants was began in 2009.Construction cost was USD 40 million.Owner of this power plant is Wind force (pvt) Ltd.This power plants is maintained by Seguwantivu and Vidatamunai(pvt) Ltd.Wind power Electricity cheaper than other energy sources.The way to go there from colombo,wattala,seeduwa,Negombo,Kattuwa,Waikkal,Bolawatta,Nainamadama,Wennappuwa,Marawila,Mhawewa,Bangadenya,Arachchikattuwa,Anawilundawa,Baththuluoya,Akkaraweli,Mundel,Mangala eliya,Madurankuli,Karikattiya,Thilladi,Puttalam.

Anuradhapura Kingdom The Anuradhapura kindom was the first kingdom  of Sri Lanka.this kingdom was founded by king Pandukabhaya.King Devanampiyathissa was an outstanding king during the Anuradhapura period.The ruins of temples built by him can still be seen today.The sacred Atamasthan (eight sacred places that,Lankaramaya,The Jaya sri maha bodhi(tree planted by king Devanampiyathissa 307-267 BC),The Lovamahapaya,The Mirisavati stupa,The Jethavanarama stupa,The Abhayagiri stupa,The Thuparama stupa,The ruwanwali maha stupa) built by different king sat different times is located in Anuradhapura.Anuradhapura is 203km away from Colombo.
